Happy Monster Monday!
Today’s monster comes from Dog Soldiers (2002), the first feature film from Neil Marshall. It is an impressive first outing from one of my favorite modern horror directors. In the film, a group of British soldiers performing a training exercise in Scotland encounters a pack of werewolves, and it goes about as well as you would expect. It stars Sean Pertwee (Alfred on Gotham), Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos on Game of Thrones), and Kevin McKidd (Trainspotting, Rome, Grey’s Anatomy). This movie is scary, bloody, and hilarious, and you should go watch it.
Have a good week, kiddies. Remember: always keep some silver handy. I’ll be back with more horror on Wednesday.
